Dr. Maria Klawe, President of Harvey Mudd College, will be the guest of honour at a banquet dinner in support of the 2019 Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Summit on Thursday, November 21, 2019. She’ll be discussing ways to increase the number of women in technology, with practical solutions for industry partners.
Famous for achieving gender parity in computer science, Dr. Klawe has also served as Dean of Engineering and professor of computer science at Princeton University, Dean of Science at the University of British Columbia, and spent 8 years with IBM Research in California.
