Queer to Care is an exhibition of “Careworks” created by McMaster Studio Art programme graduate, Sookie Bardwell, in response to the insights about personally nourishing care practices shared by contributors to the community resource for queer support and social justice workers, Queer to Care, which she created as part of her Master’s IRP in McMaster’s Gender Studies and Feminist Research programme. All of the artworks will be given to those who contributed to the project in thanks for their generosity in sharing their insights as part of a reciprocal feminist research project.
